These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website, sweetsymphonytattoo.com, and your booking of appointments or purchases from Sweet Symphony Tattoo & Piercing ("Sweet Symphony", "we", "us" or "our"), located at 1403 Anzac Avenue, Kallangur, QLD 4503. By submitting a booking or contact enquiry, attending an appointment, or purchasing from our online shop, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
Bookings & Consultations
Forms submitted through this website — for tattoos, piercings, cosmetic tattooing, nails or general enquiries — are requests, not confirmed appointments. A member of our team will contact you to confirm availability, pricing and any deposit required, and to discuss your idea, placement and design in more detail. Due to demand, wait times for a response and for appointment availability can vary — we recommend booking ahead where possible.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a deposit is required to secure your appointment, this will be confirmed with you directly at the time of booking, along with our current cancellation and rescheduling policy. As a general rule, we ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, since late cancellations affect our artists' availability for other clients. Deposits are generally non-refundable if you cancel with insufficient notice or fail to attend, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Health, Age & Consent
Tattoos, piercings and cosmetic tattooing are permanent or semi-permanent procedures that carry inherent risks. By booking with us, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old, or you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where our artists agree to work with a minor in line with Queensland law;
- You will disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or pregnancy that may affect the procedure or your healing;
- You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of your appointment; and
- You will bring valid photo ID where requested.
Our artists may decline to proceed with a tattoo, piercing or cosmetic tattoo procedure at their discretion if they believe it is not safe or appropriate to do so.
Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential to how your tattoo, piercing or cosmetic tattoo heals. We'll give you aftercare instructions after your appointment — see our Aftercare page for general guidance. Sweet Symphony is not responsible for complications, infection or unsatisfactory healing that results from failing to follow aftercare instructions.
Online Shop
Our online shop sells studio apparel, aftercare essentials, accessories and gift items. Product availability, pricing and stock are managed through our Square catalogue and may change without notice. We take reasonable care to display accurate product information, but we don't guarantee that descriptions, pricing or images are always error-free. If we discover a pricing or listing error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you before proceeding. Delivery or pickup arrangements for your order will be confirmed at checkout or by our team after your order is placed.
Refunds
Tattoo, piercing, cosmetic tattoo and nail services are provided in person and, once performed, cannot be refunded — if you have any concerns about your finished work, please contact us so we can help. For products purchased through our online shop, you're entitled to a refund, replacement or repair for faulty, unsafe or significantly not-as-described goods under the Australian Consumer Law. For change-of-mind returns outside of these protections, please contact us and we'll do our best to help on a case-by-case basis.
Intellectual Property
All original artwork, designs, photographs and content on this website belong to Sweet Symphony Tattoo & Piercing or the relevant artist, and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy, redistribute or use our designs or images — including for your own tattoo elsewhere — without our prior written permission.
Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading or malicious information through our forms. We may remove content or restrict access to the website at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sweet Symphony Tattoo & Piercing is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use this website or book with us after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
